What to Expect - in the Garden Apartment
Our amazing Garden Apartment - we love it! But what is it? Simply put, it’s our getting ready room, where you will spend the night before your wedding with up to 5 of your bridal party and the morning of your wedding getting ready!
Here we will take you through exactly what happens and what to expect!
Arrival
Check in is 4pm. If you’re setting up, you’ll usually do this at 2pm then go straight up afterwards. If you’re not setting up, a member of the team will be ready waiting for you at the front door to meet you.
A member of the team will take you up and show you around and where everything is. When you arrive, don’t unpack your car all at once - let us show you up first, then the rest of your guests can help with bags later on!
Ready and waiting for you in the kitchen will be your prosecco, cookies, brownies and a few extra treats! We will confirm evening meal time and leave you to get settled. We will show you the phone so you can give us a call if you need anything at all.
What’s Inside?
There’s a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space for everyones bags and for dresses to be hung up. There’s even a hook on the wall for your dress.
There’s plenty of mirrors, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. Everything you need, like towels, glasses, cutlery etc is all included.
There’s a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Music ready signed in - so the relaxing (or celebrating) can start right away!
It sleeps up to 6; that’s 2 in the double bed, 2 on the sofa bed and 2 in the bunk room. Extra guests can join you for the evening, breakfast, or both!
Food & Drink
Here’s what’s included in the package:
2 bottles of prosecco for the evening
Bucks fizz for breakfast
Rose prosecco for your getting-ready photos
Snacks and treats such as cookies, brownies, popcorn and sweets
Evening meal - pizzas and salads
Breakfast - continental breakfast of cereals, toast and pastries
Tea & coffee
You don’t need to go anywhere or lift a finger - a member of the team will bring all your food up for you and clear it away afterwards.
The Morning Of!
In the morning a member of the team will bring your breakfast up to you. We will also go through timings and let you know when you will need to be ready.
Hair and make-up can arrive at any time and go straight up. There’s plenty of space and light, so it makes getting ready stress-free. Your photographer and videographer can also join you later on for those final finishing touches photos and the big reveal!
You don’t need to ‘check-out’ of the Garden Apartment - you get ready in there and stay in there until the wedding coordinator comes to get you around 15 minutes before the wedding ceremony.
During the day, all your bags will be moved across to guests rooms. We have luggage tags to attach and write your names on. Anything left over or belonging to anyone not staying the night, will be moved to the bridal suite.
We may be biased but we think the Garden Apartment is the most perfect way to start your wedding off. It’s relaxing and you’re right where you need to be and if you need anything at all, we’re on hand to help!
