Book a Private Visit at Sparth House

The best way to understand Sparth House is to walk through it in person.

Sparth House is a family-run wedding venue in Lancashire, near Manchester, with private wedding spaces, gardens, 16 bedrooms and our Garden Apartment.

A private visit is relaxed, personal and takes around an hour. You’ll see the house, ask questions, talk through dates and packages, and get a real feel for whether Sparth House is right for your wedding day.

There’s no pressure and no hard sell — just a chance to see whether it feels like the one.

“Sparth House was only the second wedding venue we visited, but from our very first meeting with Emma, we knew it was where we wanted to get married.”

— Amy & Chris, April 2026

A private visit is a relaxed, one-to-one appointment where you can see Sparth House in person, walk through the spaces and talk through your plans with us. It’s the best way to get a real feel for the house and how your wedding day could work here.

What is a private visit?

What happens during a private visit?

Your private visit usually takes around an hour. You’ll see the ceremony and reception spaces, the gardens, the Garden Apartment and bedrooms where possible, and you’ll have time to ask questions about dates, packages and how the day flows.

That’s absolutely fine. Many couples visit Sparth House early in their venue search, just to get a feel for whether it’s right. There’s no pressure at all — and if you’d prefer something more informal, you’re always welcome at our Wedding & Wine Open Evening on the first Wednesday of every month, 5pm–8pm.

What if we’re not ready yet?

If the available private visit times don’t suit you, just get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to arrange another time. We know wedding planning doesn’t always fit neatly into a diary, so we’re always happy to help where we can.

Still have a question? We’d love to help.
