Sparth House is a family-run house dedicated entirely to weddings and events, where your love story comes to life. With a team that cares deeply about your experience.
Each package includes private use of your wedding spaces, with the option to make the house fully exclusive depending on the package and bedroom arrangements. Located on the edge of the Ribble Valley, Sparth House is a Georgian manor house surrounded by Lancashire countryside, a place that keeps your day warm, personal and entirely your own.
Our most loved ‘Your Ideal Package’ is ideal for couples seeking a complete day package, meticulously delivered by us and bookable up to three years in advance. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate wedding or a larger celebration, each package offers flexible options including civil ceremonies and receptions.
With Clitheroe just 15 minutes away, Preston only 30 minutes, and Manchester a 45-minute drive from the venue, Sparth House is easily accessible for guests travelling from across the North West.

To give you a starting point: a mid-week date in off-peak season starts from £7,600 for 2027. Saturday summer starts from £10,150. We're always happy to give you a personalised quote — just ask.

Your guests arrive and check in before enjoying a cocktail hour with canapés. A relaxed family style meal follows, before an early night ready for the big day.
WEDDING DAY
60 day & 100 evening guests
Champagne with top-ups & five canapés per guest during your drinks reception
3 course wedding breakfast meal with a choice of options per course, followed by tea, coffee and homemade fudge.
Unlimited wine and bottled water poured throughout the wedding breakfast with a glass of Champagne during speeches.

THE DAY AFTER
for up to 40 guests

Fully exclusive weddings
For a fully exclusive wedding, the wedding couple reserves all 16 bedrooms for their wedding party. You decide which guests stay in each room, and those guests can pay Sparth House directly. If any bedrooms are not taken or paid for by guests, the wedding couple is responsible for the remaining balance.
There is no separate venue hire or exclusivity fee.
The Garden Apartment for the night before your wedding and the Wedding Suite for your wedding night are included within the package. The remaining bedrooms are charged separately.
Non-exclusive weddings
If you do not need all 16 bedrooms, you can choose our non-exclusive option instead. Your ceremony, reception and wedding spaces remain completely private to you and your guests, but any bedrooms you do not require may be available to other overnight guests.
Whichever option you choose, your wedding spaces remain private throughout your celebration.
