What to Expect - the morning after your wedding
You’ve waited for what feels like forever to have your big day, and then it arrives and before you know it… POOF… just like that it’s over. That’s why we like to make the morning after your wedding feel as special as the day itself.
Another perk to booking your wedding fully exclusive with us, is that you are also booking out all of the rooms for your guests so you can guarantee the only guests at breakfast are your family and friends.
LET’S MAKE BREAKFAST SPECIAL…
We give your guests a letter when they check in which invites them to join you, the bride and groom, for breakfast at 9am. This way everyone comes down to enjoy the last hour or so together before they start to make their way home.
Our Regency Suite is set up for breakfast overnight to accomodate your guests. This is usually 3 or 4 round tables set up complete with your decorations from the main wedding room to pull it all together one last time.
HANGOVER CURE…
Once guests start to come down, they can take a seat and we will start to come round with tea and coffee and toast to start. With all the butters, jams and fresh orange juice right there on your table. Come 9am when the majority of guests are with us, we’ll invite the wedding couple up to help themselves to the delicious breakfast buffet with guests following right behond you. You can plate up your own full English with all your favourites or enjoy some cereals and yogurts if you feel the need for something lighter.
It really is the perfect way to round off your wedding, nurse some hangovers and have a good old laugh about Dad’s dancing and who was the most drunk the night before!
TIME FOR GOODBYES…
Once bellies are suitably full and heads are feeling slightly more alert it’s time for the goodbyes. When we’re waving off our wedding couples, it’s almost like the end of an era… sounds dramatic I know but it really does!
Over the months and often years, we grow some wonderful relationships with our couples and we love it when they continue - whether it’s sharing your photos from your big day with us or popping in next time you’re in the area. Don’t be strangers - we love to see you pop up on our socials (or postbox) months and even years down the line!
Let’s not forgot all your decorations - what happens to those?
Don’t worry, our night porter will have boxed up all your decorations and belongings from your wedding and left them safe for you, usually in our front sitting room so they are super handy for you to pack up into your cars before making your way home.
