Wedding Fairs, Open Evenings & Show Rounds

What’s the difference between a Wedding Fair, Wedding Open Evening & a Wedding Show Round?

At Sparth House, an exclusive use wedding venue in Lancashire, we offer all three. So what’s the difference and what’s right for you?

Wedding Open Evening - We call our Sparth House Open Evenings ‘Weddings & Wine Wednesdays’! They’re on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding January) and are from 5pm-8pm. You don’t need to book, just turn up. They are for all our couples (past and present) and any couple still searching for their dream wedding venue.

What to expect:

  • The house decorated beautifully as it would be for a wedding

  • The wedding team and your wedding coordinator on hand to answer any questions

  • A short tour if you’re a new couples

  • No suppliers present - there’s not stalls and tables of wedding suppliers like at most open evenings/fairs. We want it to be very relaxed and not too much to take in

  • A drink on arrival and usually some canapes

Best For: Those who aren’t ready for a private show round just yet and want a very chilled look around the venue at their own leisure

Wedding Fair - We always have a Wedding Fair in January and occasionally throughout the year too. They are for all our couples (past and present) and any couple still searching for their dream wedding venue. We will announce these across social media and you’ll need to register.

What to expect:

  • The house decorated beautifully as it would be for a wedding but by multiple suppliers

  • Lots of suppliers present such as musicians, photographers, cake makers and more

  • It to be a lot busier than an Open Evening

  • A quick tour around the house with a member of the wedding team or owning family

  • A drink and some canapes

Best for: Couples who don’t mind the venue being quite busy with lots going on - who are newly engaged and just starting their wedding planning journey.

Wedding Show Round - Our show rounds are only for new couples searching for their dream venue. You’ll need to book an exact appointment day and time via our website.

What to expect:

  • The house decorated beautifully as it would be for a wedding

  • It to be private - we don’t do show rounds when we have weddings or anything else going on. It’s just you and your wedding coordinator

  • An in depth tour of the house and how it would work for your wedding

  • A sit down chat to get to know you both

  • A personalised quote and the chance to look at and pencil in a date - so come with a good idea in mind of when you’d like to get married and your estimated guest numbers

  • To leave with a printed pack of information to take home and have a good look at

  • An email and whatsapp after your visit so you can ask your wedding coordinator any questions.

Best for: Couples who are seriously considering Sparth House as their wedding venue and want a really good look around and chat with a wedding coordinator about their plans.

We hope this helps clear it up fo you and we can’t wait to see you either at a show round, open evening or wedding fair!

Love Olivia, Katie & Emma xxx
