Katie & Sam’s May Wedding
What a day it was for Katie & Sam! Guests were well looked after at this gorgeous May wedding, which featured cocktail hour, beer pong & a prosecco tower!
They booked our Ideal Wedding Package, which is an all-inclusive wedding package, and then personalised it with their own touches and plenty of extras from us!
What the couple thought…
Wow, what an incredible wedding venue. So thoughtful and incredible from the beginning.
Katie was incredible from the beginning, free for any question, which wasn't many as the venue provided us with a booked couples portal with every bit of information on there that we could possibly need.
The day though. Wow. Incredible from start to finish, from Olivia helping the groomsmen with their pocket squares, the very kind waitress who kept coming up to check on us and if we needed any drink. The team, Katie, Olivia and Emma all talked us through each step so we knew what would happen.
The attention to detail was fantastic and they massively helped us with silly things that happened on the day! Ensuring everything went smoothly without our knowledge.
The team on hospitality were flawless, ensuring our guests were well catered for, even to the point of my nana went to order a coffee and the waiter came through to where she was sat with it so she didn't get injured during the party.
We just had such an amazing day, words can't describe it, and we're so thankful for becoming Mr and Mrs at this beautiful venue.
We're praying we attend another wedding there now as we can't wait to go back one day!

THE NIGHT BEFORE & MORNING OF
Obviously Katie stayed in our Garden Apartment the night before her wedding. Meaning a super relaxed evening whilst our team looked after them and supplied the food and drink. They had a fun evening of ‘Paint the Groom’ before getting some well needed rest before the big day.
In the morning, Katie and her bridal party were joined by her team of hair and make up artists for a chilled morning of getting ready before the big reveal!
THE CEREMONY
The couple opted for our ceremony dressing package and her florist, Flower Design Events, finished it in the most stunning way, with two floral displays to frame the start of the aisle and an arrangement on the ceremony table.
We love a front door decoration and this broken arch really made an impact as guests arrived. During the ceremony, the suppliers moved it to the wedding breakfast room to use as a backdrop.
DRINKS RECEPTION
Guests were well looked after throughout the day, with all the food and drink possible and this started at the drinks reception. The couple chose our Sip ‘n’ Slide canapes and our Mimosa bar with buckets of beer.
The Lancashire weather was kind and guests were able to enjoy garden games outside before finishing with an alternative to the confetti shot - a bubble photo!
COCKTAIL HOUR
After the couple and their guests had enjoyed their wedding breakfast and speeches, guests returned to the lounge for cocktail hour. Along with cocktails waiting, guests were also greeted with beer and prosecco pong - a great way to get the party started - and a perfect use of our lounge and bar area.
After cocktail hour, guests then headed down to dance the night away. Not before however the couple had a quick private first dance - which we absolutely love!
