DAY 10 - MAKING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR SHOWROUND
The show round is where the fun really starts! Some of you will fall in love with your venue before you even step inside, others will fall in love once inside and for some they’ll know it’s the one once they meet the person that will be looking after them!
Here’s our tips on how you can make the most out of your first visits to each of your different venue…
The time you spend looking around your potential venue is precious to both you and the person showing you around so make the most of it!
Go armed with questions to ask – here is a pretty extensive list of some you might not have thought of…..
Picture yourself getting married there
It might sound silly but as you are being shown around try to imagine yourself walking down that aisle, having photos in the grounds, dancing til the early hours on the dancefloor, getting ready there in the morning.
You should feel super content and comfortable on your wedding day and so if you can’t imagine yourself doing these things there, maybe it isn’t the one for you.
First impressions are everything
Do you get a good vibe from the person showing you around?
Were you greeted with a warm welcome and did they introduce themselves
And at the end, does this person understand me and what I want from my wedding day?
Remember, whoever is showing you around is likely to be the one looking after you on your wedding day so it’s feeling comfortable and confident with them is more important than you might think.
You should have full confidence that the venue you choose will deliver so make the most of your time there and enjoy the experience - hopefully you’ll find the one!
