Laura & Stuart's Crisp November Wedding

A BEAUTIFUL WINTER WEDDING

Laura and Stuart chose to tie the knot on the most perfectly crisp day in early November 2019 with their children by their sides. This wedding sticks in my mind due to how sleek and timeless it was yet ultra modern too! Styled to perfection I’d say.

The bride looked effortless in a white strapless gown from Bridal Lounge of Accrington whilst the groom and his groomsmen looked so smart in all black dinner suits. James Bond who?!

Our day was amazing from start to finish and we couldn’t fault a thing.

THE WEDDING MORNING

Laura decided to stay with us the night before her wedding in our gorgeous Bridal Suite. The morning of her wedding, the bridal party were all together for hair and make up and you can just see how proud her parents are from these special photos. I particularly love the one of Laura adding a little lipstick to her daughter - such a sweet moment caught on camera by their photographer on the day, Rick James!

CIVIL CEREMONY AND DRINKS RECEPTION

For their ceremony music, Stuart & Laura booked the amazing pianist Craig Smith to play throughout their ceremony. We love it when we hear that our couples have booked Craig at some point during their day. Why? Because not only is he super talented but live music creates such a gorgeous atmosphere and gives your guests something special to remember.

Following the civil ceremony, Laura’s Maid of Honour, Charlotte continued the live music in our Regency Suite whilst guests sipped away on Bucks Fizz and braced the crisp outdoors for some photos on one of our favourite spots in the gardens, Confetti Lane!

I’ve been meaning to email to say a massive thank you to you and your team. Thank you so much!

WEDDING BREAKFAST

The Alexandra Suite was home to the newlyweds for the majority of the day and they enlisted the help of the amazing Julie from Hedgehogg Florist who brought the room and their vision to life with white and green table centres and the most pretty wisteria backdrop behind the top table. The table plan and other stationary pieces (name cards etc) where in white on clear perpex and looked so effective. Especially the table plan which was floating in a copper surround.

EVENING RECEPTION

As soon as the wedding breakfast was finished, guests headed back through to the Regency for room turnaround and were greeted by a shot bar! Laura & Stuart wanted something fun for their day guests to start getting the party started! They chose 5 different spirits ranging from tequila (salt and lemons too of course!) to baileys (which went down a treat with the older generation).

Once the evening guest had all arrived and before the tequilas kicked in, the cake was cut, the newlyweds danced their first dance to James Arthurs ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ which was performed by the amazing Celebrity Band and then the party really started.

Before the evening buffet (which was our Market Food option with Mexican and Greek Mezze - yum!!) the bridal party snuck out to the front to get some gorgeous sparkler shots which are just perfect for a winter wedding with the evening turning dark early.

Safe to this was a lovely wedding from start to finish with all the musical treats and the most stunning, happy new couple. We hope married life has treated you well so far!

Every one of your staff made us feel so special and I wish we could do it all again!
