A REAL WEDDING THAT OOZED STYLE
We LOVED this wedding from July last year for the gorgeous Mr & Mrs Budd. I personally can’t stop looking at all the beautiful photos which were taken by the fabulous Anna Beth. This lady has certainly perfected her craft!
Stephanie & Matthew were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout their wedding planning process and had lots of ideas of what they wanted to include on their wedding day. From a harpist playing throughout the ceremony, to a gin bar in the evening with live performances from The Upstarts, a rock and pop band who were AMAZING! Anyway, more of that later!

CIVIL CEREMONY
Steph and her bridesmaids stayed the night and got ready in our huge bridal suite the morning of her wedding. She looked simply stunning in her white wedding dress! Meanwhile the Groom and his groomsmen had a cold beer downstairs at our bar to settle the nerves.
They decided on a harpist to play their chosen songs for their wedding ceremony and wow she didn't disappoint. They decorated the Woodlands Suite beautifully for the ceremony, with lots of gold petals adorning the white aisle carpet and little touches of greenery on the end aisle seats. The little details make a big difference you know!?

DRINKS RECEPTION & PHOTOGRAPHS
The sun was shining so bright for the new Mr & Mrs Budd on their wedding day and they were able to fully explore our 3 acres of beautiful grounds with Anna Beth.
Whilst Stephanie & Matthew were off exploring, their guests were enjoying a choice of prosecco or an ice cold beer outside and having a laugh amongst one another.
With the drinks flowing, we gathered all the guests to confetti lane for a group shot which did not disappoint! There was even a classic Instagram/ Reality moment which gave us all a good laugh!!
WEDDING BREAKFAST
Once we’d managed to get all bums on seats, Mr & Mrs Budd wanted to go straight into speeches - which by the way is most common these days (get’s the nerves out of the way). Our beautiful bride Stephanie even had one prepared which was a lovely addition to the traditional speeches.
The menu they chose for their guests to enjoy was a tasty one with empty plates coming back from everywhere - always the best sign, not to mention the floods of compliments especially about the beef! YUMMMMM
Asparagus wrapped in proscuito with a hollandaise sauce
Slow braised blade of beef, buttery mash and port jus (served with veggies of course!)
Raspberry cheesecake drizzled in a wild berry compote
Before the wedding, they shared a playlist with us full of all their favourite songs which we played during the wedding breakfast, perfect background music!

EVENING RECEPTION & THAT BIT BEFORE
So, wedding breakfast and speeches over, guests headed back through to the front restaurant where they were treated to a surprise private Gin Bar! Which by the way are entirely bespoke to you…

Stephanie and Matthew had vouchers made that we laid out in place of the usual wedding favour which they went on to redeem before the evening guests arrived.
Once the band, The Upstarts were all set up and we’d reset the room ready for the evening reception, we reopened the Alexandra Suite for the ultimate party.
The Conservatory & bar area just off the main room makes a perfect break out space for guests and our decor in there fits right in with their stylish gold wedding theme!
Now… PARTY TIME!!!
