Laura & Chris’ Wedding
A downpour of happiness!
Laura & Chris had their big day at Sparth House on the 4th December 2021 and what a day it was!
One of the most rainy weddings on record, with not a single break in the clouds; but that didn’t matter one bit. The colour, happiness and warmth Laura & Chris brought with them shone throughout the entire day.
As you will see from the photos, nothing dampened the spirits of this couple, with smiles from start to finish!

THE NIGHT BEFORE
Laura and her bridal party stayed the night in our fabulous Garden Apartment. Our Garden Apartment is exclusively yours for you and your bridal party the night before your wedding.
There’s plenty of room for everyone to get ready, enjoy a glass of fizz and have some amazing getting-ready photos taken.
CIVIL CEREMONY
The Daley’s chose to have Harpist, Sarah Davies, play their ceremony music.
With flowers by AM PM Flowers and our own ceremony room dressing, it was romantic with a splash of colour.
Newly married, the couple and their wedding party headed back into the house for a mulled wine drinks reception.
Our own umbrellas came in handy and even made for some beautiful photos!
With outside still pouring down, this is where Sparth House came into its own; providing the couple and their family some beautiful settings for their photographs.

WEDDING BREAKFAST
The music from Sarah Davies continued throughout the wedding breakfast and the couple added a back drop to their top table from the wonderful Antha Event Hire.
The couple opted for a meal of Leek and Potato soup, braised beef with chive mash and thyme jus, and lemon posset for dessert.
Centrepieces were floral cubes and hoops, with floating candles.
The couple opted to have speeches first and featured the traditional line up of the Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man; all making for some cracking photos!
EVENING RECEPTION
During evening guest arrival, the couple added some fun with beer and prosecco pong in our Regency room.
They also added a doughnut wall to their evening supper of Lancashire hotpot and bacon baps!
Their stunning cake was by The Cake Pavilion.
