Finally celebrating with all their family & friends
Martyn & Laura are one of our many postponement couples - and after actually getting married during lockdown with just a handful of guests at their church, they finally got to celebrate with their family and friends this August. What a gorgeous Summer’s day they had too. How pretty does the house look?!
Martyn & Laura had their wedding day with us on Friday 19th August with over 80 of their nearest and dearest celebrating their special day.
THE WEDDING CEREMONY…
As Martyn & Laura were already legally married, their ceremony was conducted by a family member and was written by the couple themselves, which made it even more personal to the couple.

DRINKS RECEPTION
Whilst guests enjoyed their canapes and prosecco, Laura & Martyn headed to the beautiful grounds and gardens for some stunning photos - we adore the ones featuring baby Sophia!
THE WEDDING BREAKFAST
Now once the drinks reception, canapes and photographs has been completed. It was time to move into the Alexandra Suite for speeches and the wedding breakfast.
The wedding breakfast rooms featured jars with flowers (which were moved across from the ceremony room pew ends) and candles, cookies as favours, and a pretty flower wall from Antha Event Hire.

Chicken liver parfait, focaccia & onion jam
Slow braised beef, chive mash and seasonal vegetables
Everyone’s favourite - sticky toffee pudding!
EVENING RECEPTION
Before the evening guests arrived, bride and groom tried their hand at our ever popular beer and prosecco pong in the garden.
Guests enjoyed an evening buffet of chilli dogs and a Greek Meze.
Not long after this photo - bride and groom were in bed eating cake - now we can’t blame them with their gorgeous new born to look after and we definitely wouldn’t mind following in their footsteps!
