What to Expect - Sparth House Open Evening
Not your average open evening…
Our Weddings & Wine Wednesdays were born during lockdown, as a way to keep our couples excited about their weddings, bring together couples, and an excuse for a glass of wine. We’ve now brought them back on the first Wednesday of every month, where you can view the house, have a natter about your wedding plans, and of course, enjoy a glass of wine!
Our open evenings are for couples searching for their dream wedding venue, our booked couples and also our past couples!
So, what can you expect at our Weddings & Wine Wednesdays?
The venue open to view…
The venue will be dressed minimally but beautifully, so you can see the venue and all the spaces, without too much going on.
We don’t have wedding suppliers at our open evenings. We want you to be able to wander round the house, without being overwhelmed with choice, ideas and decoration.
It’s the perfect chance to bring family and wedding party members too and get your planning heads together.
The wedding team available…
If you’re a new couple, viewing Sparth House for the first time, our team of wedding coordinators will be there if you need them. They can give you a show round of the venue, or just answer any questions you might have.
If you’re a booked couple, they will be available to answer questions you might have and to offer any advice or guidance you need.
A relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere…
Wedding venue open days are busy - there’s lots going on and you can sometimes feel the pressure of being sold to - it’s all very overwhelming.
That’s why we want our open evenings to be completely the opposite. As we have them every month, they tend to be quieter than an open day. You can usually find our wedding team in the lounge, having a chat with our couples (glass of wine in hand) and we’re a very friendly bunch - who love all things weddings. We will welcome you in to the house, then leave you to have a look and take it all in by yourself.
Can’t come in person?
Then join us on social media instead. Each month will have a topic that our wedding team will be discussing. We will be sharing our top tips, help and crucial information all around the topic. We’ll be sharing all the information in videos on social media so there’s no need to miss out!
You can submit your questions via social media or even request a topic. All videos will be available to watch back, so we’re there when you’re ready!
