You're also probably sat there thinking... How do I go about picking my suppliers though? Or timings wise, who should I confirm first? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered!

Let us guide you through the things to consider when making such an important decision and also explain our reasons for revisiting a couple of them!

After receiving your quotes, the next step is to view the venues themselves – we advise cutting your list by about half so you view around 6 venues.

Why only 6? Any more than 6 and you’ll face the problem of overwhelming yourself and they’ll start to all merge into one. Also you’ll have likely ruled out a couple straight away once you received your quotes.

If you know your dream date then perfect this is a great start! However do still pick a couple of back up dates near to it (or let the venues know you’re flexible) in case they don’t have the availability on it.

If you’ve not got a specific date in mind then don’t panic but do narrow it down a bit by considering things such as: year/ month/ day/ on or off peak
